J. J. Keller's® transport research identifies pain points and offers solutions
Fleet management is no easy job. There are aspects of the position that are outside of your control.
But you may not be the only one struggling with a specific set of challenges. Sharing your insights with others could help those with similar experiences.
For example, our 2023 Transportation Pain Points survey asked fleet managers what they think are the most important ingredients for success across a variety of categories, including driver knowledge and skills, driver training, compliance, safety, vehicle technology and maintenance, and company expenses.
What did we find?
In terms of the toughest challenges fleet managers face, some common themes emerged. Respondents said they were facing three signification challenges regarding transportation:
- Driver hiring and retention
- Keeping up with compliance
- Vehicle repair and maintenance
