All employers should be trained on their right to report work-related injuries and illnesses and how to report them. Employers must establish a reporting procedure that does not deter or discourage an employee from reporting work-related injuries and illnesses. Employers should also post the OSHA “It’s The Law” worker rights poster (http://www.osha.gov/Publications/poster.html) in their workplaces.
