With regard to Mr. Charles Deckard's request of July 9, 1974, I submit the following.
The above subject standard applies only to the specific derricks indicated and to any modification of those derricks that retain basic features as those listed in 29 CFR 1910.181(b)(1). The fundamental features applicable to these derricks are also illustrated in this section.
A standard oil well derrick, not fitting these characteristics, is not covered by 29 CFR 1910.181.
