Important recurring Federal EPA deadlines

This document offers a summary of several important federal EPA deadlines that recur at a given frequency, e.g., annually, every other year, every three years, and every four years. Check the comparison table below for assistance in determining if any of the listed recurring deadline requirements may apply.

The table is provided as a reference tool. It is not a definitive source of compliance information and is not intended to replace the CFRs. The comparison table is also not comprehensive. There may be other recurring deadline requirements at the federal, state, and/or local levels. Moreover, it does not cover compliance or effective dates that are singular or random, and not recurring.
