What does the motor carrier communicate to the Clearinghouse in regard to follow-up testing?

The motor carrier that provides the return-to-duty drug or alcohol test communicates a negative result to the CDL Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse. The motor carrier does not provide details of each follow-up test. Instead, when the driver completes the follow-up program, the motor carrier that provides the last negative follow-up test reports the event. Note: Medical Review Officers only report failed drug tests, and do not report any alcohol test results.
