This EPA fact sheet provides information for people who may be subject to the Chemical Data Reporting (CDR) rule on how their requirements for reporting for 2020 may be affected when chemical substances are the subject of certain actions under the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA). Manufacturers must consider the effect of certain TSCA actions on reporting when determining whether they need to report based on production volume thresholds and their eligibility for some of the exemptions which reduce or eliminate reporting requirements. New for 2020 is the addition of TSCA section 4 orders to the list of certain TSCA actions, an updated small manufacturer definition, and a new small government definition.
