Overview

The New York State Department of Transportation is responsible for trucking safety in New York. The Department of Transportation has incorporated by reference Parts 390- 399 revised as of October 1, 2022.

Applicability

This adoption applies to intrastate and interstate operations when the vehicle has a gross vehicle weight rating, gross combination weight rating, gross vehicle weight, or gross combination weight of 10,001 pounds or more, or is of any size transporting a placardable amount of hazardous materials.
