Applicability
Parts 390-397 apply to commercial motor vehicles operated in intrastate commerce which have a gross vehicle weight rating or gross combination weight rating of 26,001 pounds or more, and vehicles transporting hazardous materials.
Exempt from the adopted requirements are intrastate vehicles licensed for a gross weight of 60,000 pounds or less used exclusively for transporting solid waste, and intrastate vehicles of 42,000 pounds or less when the license plate has been designated for farm use by the letter “F” as authorized by Missouri statutes, and not hauling hazardous materials.
