Overview
The Department of Transportation is responsible for motor vehicle safety of operations for motor carriers. The Department of Transportation has incorporated by reference the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (Parts 383, 385, 386, and 390-399) as they existed on May 31, 2018. No exceptions were made.
Applicability
This adoption applies to interstate and intrastate operation of a vehicle with a gross vehicle weight rating or gross combination weight rating, or gross vehicle weight or gross combination weight of 10,001 pounds or more, whichever is greater, or a vehicle of any size transporting a placardable amount of hazardous materials.
