Arkansas has adopted Sec. 390.15 of the Federal Regulations, which includes accident recordkeeping requirements.
Applicability
Section 390.15 applies to any self-propelled or towed motor vehicle used on a highway in intrastate and interstate commerce when the vehicle has a gross vehicle weight rating, gross combination weight rating, gross vehicle weight, or gross combination weight of 10,001 pounds or more, or is of any size transporting a placardable amount of hazardous materials.
Notification
The driver of a vehicle involved in an accident resulting in injury to or death of any person or total property damage to an apparent extent of $1,000 or more must notify the nearest law enforcement agency immediately. All persons involved in the accident must make themselves readily available to the investigating agency's officer or officers.
A Safety Responsibility Accident Report (SR-1) must also be submitted within 30 days of the accident.

The Department of Arkansas State Police may require any driver of a vehicle involved in an accident that must be reported under this section to file supplemental reports whenever the original report is insufficient in the opinion of the Department of Arkansas State Police and may require witnesses of an accident to render reports to the Department of Arkansas State Police.
How to obtain accident reports
Procedure
A copy of an official motor vehicle crash report may be obtained by sending a request, including driver(s) name(s), date of accident, highway number, and county in which the accident occurred, with the required fee to the Arkansas State Police. A report is also available online at: https://crashreports.ark.org/.
Fee
A fee of $10.00 for each report is charged. A fee of $12.00 is charged for online reports.
