Florida has adopted Part 393 of the Federal Regulations.
Part 393 applies to vehicles with a gross vehicle weight rating of 10,000 pounds or more, and vehicles transporting hazardous materials.
No requirements.
Mudflaps or other splash/spray suppressant devices are required on trucks over 26,000 pounds, any truck tractor, or any trailer or semitrailer over 2,000 pounds net weight. Mudflaps are required on the rearmost wheels of such vehicle or combination of vehicles.
