Cell Phones While Driving
Saskatchewan prohibits the use of electronic communications equipment while driving on a highway. The prohibition does not apply to:
- Drivers using electronic communications equipment to report an emergency; or
- Drivers, who are not “new drivers,” that can:
- Activate the electronic communication equipment by pressing a button once, without holding the equipment; or
- Use their voice to activate the electronic communication equipment, without holding the equipment.
