All intrastate commercial carriers operating in Wyoming are required to apply for and carry a copy of their operating authority in each power unit owned or leased by the carrier. Private carriers are not required to comply if all units are 26,000 pounds gross vehicle weight or less. Intrastate operating authority trip permits are not available. Carriers must have Wyoming intrastate private or for-hire operating authority. All interstate carriers must be registered with the UCR.
