This standard applies to fork trucks, tractors, platform lift vehicles, motorized hand trucks and other specialized industrial trucks powered by electric motors or internal combustion engines. The standard does not apply to compressed air or nonflammable compressed gas operated industrial trucks, to farm vehicles, or to automotive vehicles for highway use.
