§895.48 (Chapter 895 - Miscellaneous General Provisions) Civil Liability Exemption, Emergency Medical Care, Hazardous Materials, and Information Concerning Paternity. Provides immunity from civil liability for those who render emergency care at the scene, barring gross negligence.
§146.50 (Chapter 146 – Miscellaneous Health Provisions) Emergency Medical Services Personnel, licensure, certification, training. Provides a definition of a semi-automatic defibrillator. Equipment needs to be maintained and tested, and that written notification to the nearest medical service provider of the AED – its type and intended use.
