§15-1-310: Liability for emergency care rendered at scene of accident. Provides immunity for those who provide care to victims at the scene of an emergency, barring gross negligence.
Title 44, Chapter 76: Automated external defibrillators. Defines AED, health care professional, and designated AED user; requires training of designated AED users from the American Heart Association, the American National Red Cross, or the National Safety Council; requires maintenance of units, and a health care professional as liaison; and provides for immunity to those who render care via an AED.
