May a motor carrier perform full queries rather than limited queries during the annual clearinghouse report?
Yes, there is nothing prohibiting a motor carrier from requesting full queries on existing drivers in order to eliminate a step in the process in the event the driver has information in the database. However, such a policy requires existing drivers to register with the clearinghouse in order to grant consent through the portal.
