EPA’s Hazardous Waste Electronic Manifest System requires receiving facilities to submit signed, completed manifests to a central federal database. Georgia does not require copies of manifests be submitted to the state regardless of whether the waste originates or is disposed of in the state.
About the Uniform Hazardous Waste Manifest
The Uniform Hazardous Waste Manifest is a form used by those who transport, or offer for transport, hazardous waste for off-site treatment, recycling, storage, or disposal. When completed, it contains information on the type and quantity of the waste being transported, instructions for handling the waste, and signature lines for all parties involved in the disposal process. See the Hazardous Waste Manifest topic for more information.
J. J. Keller & Associates, Inc. was the first printer approved and registered by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to print and sell the federal Uniform Hazardous Waste Manifest.
Use of the Uniform Hazardous Waste Manifest has been mandatory since 2006, and only authorized printers are allowed to offer them.
