Is respiratory protection program required for work within a spray booth?

If an operator is using a respirator, because either the employer requires it or there is a hazardous atmosphere that necessitates it, then a Respiratory Protection Program is required. This would include medical evaluation, fit testing, training, respirator selection, etc., per 1910.134 (Federal ... states are required to have at least as effective requirements).
