An intermediate bulk container (IBC) is a rigid or flexible portable packaging, other than a cylinder or portable tank, which is designed for mechanical handling.
Scope
Specifications for the construction of intermediate bulk containers (IBCs) apply to all shippers who use IBCs to package hazardous materials.
