PUBLIC SECTOR
Connecticut municipalities and state agencies must report fatalities within 8 hours and inpatient hospitalizations, amputations and loss of an eye within 24 hours to CONN-OSHA.
To report a public sector fatality or catastrophe to CONN-OSHA, call:
- Local (Wethersfield/Hartford Area) – (860) 263-6946
- Statewide (toll free) – 1-866-241-4060 Any information not related to an accident or fatality called in to this telephone number will not be processed.

PRIVATE SECTOR
Connecticut private sector employers must report fatalities within 8 hours and report inpatient hospitalizations, amputations and loss of an eye within 24 hours to the appropriate federal OSHA Area Office.
