How often are employers required to do training on their Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure (SPCC) Plan?

SPCC regulations require “oil handling personnel” and the individuals with responsibilities associated with discharge prevention be trained at intervals specified in the plan, but not less than once per year. Contractors are also addressed by SPCC regulations: they too must be “informed,” or trained, in order to prevent spills or discharges.
