Regulations
For voluntary termination the final paycheck is due immediately if the employee gave the employer 48 hours notice. If notice is not given the final paycheck is due within five days, excluding Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, after the employee has quit, or at the next regularly scheduled payday, whichever occurs first. (Oregon Revised Statutes §652.140(1).)
For involuntary termination the final paycheck is due at the end of the next business day following termination. (Oregon Revised Statutes §652.140.)
