Currently, there is no federal regulation that governs ergonomics. Similarly, Tennessee has no specific requirements regarding ergonomics. However, Tennessee has a requirement that is equivalent to OSHA's General Duty Clause for providing a safe and healthy workplace, free from recognized hazards.
