Seasonal Employment Notice
Summary of state requirements: Before a seasonal employee performs services, the employer must provide a special written notice (Form UCB-9381-P) to inform the employee of the possibility that wages earned in seasonal employment will be excluded from consideration when determining eligibility for unemployment insurance benefits.

WARN Act Notice
Summary of state requirements: An employer laying off workers in Wisconsin must provide written notice to affected employees no later than 60 calendar days before the date of the closing or layoffs.

Unemployment Availability
Summary of optional notice: Upon separation of employment, an employer can opt to notify the employee of the availability of unemployment insurance by letter, email, text message, flyer, or any other department-approved method. The employer can also provide the employee with the printed Notice to Employees About Applying for Wisconsin Unemployment Benefits poster required by Wisc. Admin. Code DWD §120.01.
