Unemployment Insurance
Summary of state requirements: Employers are required to provide employees with notification of the availability of unemployment insurance (UI) benefits at the time of separation from employment or reduction in hours. Employers shall post and maintain, in places readily accessible to their employees, printed notices or posters informing employees of their potential rights to benefits under section 405 of the law (43 P. S. 805) and providing general instructions as to what the employee shall do and where the employee shall go to obtain those benefits.
