Earnings and deductions
Summary of state requirements: Effective January 1, 2026, Oregon employers must give new hires a notice including the following information:
- The employer’s established regular pay period.
- A comprehensive list of:
- All types of pay rates that employees may be eligible for, including hourly pay, salary pay, shift differentials, piece-rate pay, and commission-based pay.
- All benefit deductions and contributions.
- Every type of deduction that may apply.
- The purpose of deductions that might be made during a regular pay period.
- Allowances, if any, claimed as part of the minimum wage.
- Employer-provided benefits that might appear on the itemized statements as contributions and deductions.
- All payroll codes used for pay.
Employers may make the information available in a location easily accessible to them, such as a link to a website, a physical document posted in a central location, a shared electronic file, or delivery by email.
Employers must review and update the information by January 1 of each year.

Summary of state requirements: Oregon employers with six or more employees must provide a written Workplace Accommodations notice to employees at the time of hire. Paid Family Leave
Summary of state requirements: Oregon employers with six or more employees must provide a written Workplace Accommodations notice to employees at the time of hire. The notice must also be provided to an employee who informs the employer of the employee's pregnancy, within 10 days after the employer receives the information.

Non-compete agreement notice
Summary of state requirements: Employers shall display the poster at the workplace or may provide the poster in person. Alternatively, employers may provide notice in a physical or electronic format that is reasonably conspicuous and accessible at the time of hire. The poster must be in English. The employer must provide a signed, written copy of the terms of the noncompetition agreement to the employee within 30 days after the date of the termination of the employee’s employment.

Paid Sick Leave
Summary of state requirements: The employer shall provide each employee with a notice regarding what increments of sick leave will be used. The employer shall retain and keep a copy of the notice for the duration of the employee’s employment and for no less than six months after the termination date of the employee.
