WARN Act Notice
Summary of state requirements: Employers must give affected employees and representatives of affected employees written notice 60 days before a mass layoff or plant closing. Employers must include the elements required by the federal Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act (29 USC 2101 et. seq.). Employers may mail the notice to an affected employee's last known address or include the notice in the employee's paycheck.
