WARN Act Notice
Summary of state requirements: Employers who plan a business closing, mass layoff, or extension of a short-term mass layoff of 6 months or less that affects 25 or more employees must provide written notice to the affected employees or their representatives 30 days before the order of such action. If an applicable collective bargaining agreement designates a different notice period, the notice period in the collective bargaining agreement shall govern.
