Federal: 29 CFR 1910.38 and Appendix to Subpart E
A summary of the additional requirements includes the following:
- All employers (including those with 10 or fewer employees) must have a “written” emergency action plan (EAP).
- Employee alarm systems must be distinctive and recognizable, and they must provide warning for action called for in the EAP.
