Checking driving records
Information Required — Driver’s full name, date of birth, driver license number, and written authorization from the driver. The company’s name and address.
Format — Records may be requested via an online service called ExpressLane: https://expresslane.dps.louisiana.gov/cdl_ODR/cdlODR1.aspx.
Records may also be obtained by mail or at one of the following motor vehicle offices: Alexandria, Baton Rouge, Lake Charles, Monroe, Shreveport.
Fee — $16.00 per request. A money order or certified check must accompany request and be payable to the Department of Public Safety.
$18.00 per on-line request. Fee must be paid by credit card.
