Wyoming has adopted Part 392 of the Federal Regulations.
Applicability
Part 392 applies to vehicles operating intrastate with a gross vehicle weight rating, gross combination weight rating, gross vehicle weight, or gross combination weight of 26,001 pounds or more, or transporting hazardous materials in a quantity requiring placarding.
Speed limit
Maximum speed limit for trucks on rural interstates is 75 to 80 mph or as otherwise posted. On 2-lane highways the maximum speed limit is 65 mph or as otherwise posted.
A maximum speed limit of 80 mph is allowed where posted, on rural interstates.
