Federal regulations

Oklahoma has adopted Part 392 of the Federal Regulations.

Applicability

Part 392 applies to intrastate drivers of vehicles with a gross vehicle weight rating or gross combination weight rating, or a gross vehicle weight or gross combination weight of 26,001 pounds or more, or transporting hazardous materials requiring the vehicle to be placarded.

Speed limit

The speed limit is 75 mph on turnpikes, 70 mph (or as posted) on rural interstates, and 65 mph on state highways.
