Federal regulations
Nebraska has adopted Part 392 of the Federal Regulations.
Applicability
Part 392 applies to all intrastate motor carriers and all vehicles of intrastate motor carriers with a gross vehicle weight rating, gross combination weight rating, gross vehicle weight, or gross combination weight over 10,000 pounds, and to all intrastate motor carriers operating vehicles transporting a placardable amount of hazardous materials.
Speed limit
75 mph on rural interstates, 70 mph on expressways and freeways that are part of the state highway system, and 65 mph on most other two-lane highways (unless otherwise posted).
