Federal regulations

Missouri has adopted Part 392 of the Federal Regulations.

Applicability

Part 392 applies to commercial motor vehicles operated in intrastate commerce which have a gross vehicle weight rating or gross combination weight rating of 26,001 pounds or more, or vehicles transporting hazardous materials.

Speed limit

The speed limit is 70 mph on rural interstates, 65 mph on rural expressways, 60 mph on urban interstates, 55 mph on state highways, or as posted.
