Federal regulations

Florida has adopted Part 392 of the Federal Regulations.

Applicability

Part 392 applies to vehicles with a gross vehicle weight rating of 10,000 pounds or more, and vehicles transporting hazardous materials.

Speed limit

The speed limit is 70 mph on rural interstates, 65 mph on selected 4-lane highways, and 55 mph on most other highways.
