Federal: 29 CFR 1904

Reporting work-related fatalities and hospitalizations (29 CFR 1904.39)

As of Jan. 1, 2016, all employers under NM-OSHA jurisdiction must report:

1. All work-related fatalities within 8 hours.
2. All work-related inpatient hospitalizations, amputations and losses of an eye within 24 hours.

Employers can report to NM-OSHA by:

1. Calling NM-OSHA’s free and confidential number at 1-877-610-OSHA (6742).
