Controlled Substances/Alcohol is described as operation of a CMV while impaired due to alcohol, illegal drugs, and misuse of prescription medications or over-the-counter medications.
Violation severity weights reflect the relative importance of each violation within each BASIC. These weights cannot be compared or added meaningfully across the BASICs.
