CARB places registration holds due to noncompliance with CARB regulations. Beginning in 2024, the registration hold may be due to not meeting the compliance requirements for the Clean Truck Check program.
If your vehicle's model year is 2010 or older, it is possible that your vehicle does not comply with the Truck and Bus regulation.
For assistance with determining why the vehicle is non-compliant with CARB regulation(s) and what you need to do to bring the vehicle into compliance, you may contact the CARB Hotline at 1-866-634-3735.
