Yes, OSHA Compliance Safety and Health Officers (CSHOs) have the authority to deny a third party as representative if:
- The party has not been authorized by employees to be their walkaround representative per 1903.8(b);
 - If the third party representatives' conduct interferes with a fair and orderly inspection per 1903.8(d); or
 - If employees request limited entry of third party representatives into areas with trade secrets per 1903.9(d).
