Corrective glasses, goggles, or other personal protective equipment can be used with tight-fitting respirators, but employers must ensure that they are worn in a manner that does not interfere with the seal of the facepiece to the face of the user. Eyeglass inserts or spectacle kits are acceptable if the devices:
- Do not interfere with the facepiece seal,
- Do not cause any distortion of vision, and
- Do not cause any physical harm to the wearer during use.
