No. These are two types of valves found in atmosphere-supplying respirators. They are used in conjunction with the respirator’s regulator to provide the respirator wearer with proper pressure and flow of air supply. These valves serve such a critical function and the respirator standard requires that these parts be returned to the manufacturer or given to an appropriately trained technician for adjustment or repair.
