No. A driver who normally complies with the terms of a 150-air-mile-radius exception in 395.1(e) but who occasionally drives outside that radius (or who fails to meet any of the other terms of the exception) must only complete records of duty status (logs) for those days when the exception cannot be claimed. The driver would not need to complete logs on the days he/she meets all the criteria of the short-haul exception. Any logs that are created would have to be available in the vehicle for 7 days and forwarded to the motor carrier within 13 days, as specified in 395.8.
