ANSI Z535.2 Environmental and facility safety signs (ANSI 35.1)

This standard presents a hazard alert system that uses different signal words and colors to distinguish between levels of hazards. By using this system, observers will be able to determine the type and degree of hazards and take appropriate actions to avoid injury. The standard covers signs used at fixed locations such as industrial facilities, as well as larger, movable signs that may be used on a temporary basis.
