Abstract: This American National Standard covers self-propelled integral chassis aerial platforms. It applies to platforms that cannot be positioned completely beyond the base and that are used to position workers. Among other things, the standard requires that the platform have an emergency stop device at both the upper and lower control stations. The standard also requires that users supply a security device to protect against unauthorized use.
