This standard covers woodworking machinery. It covers installation, operation, and maintenance of the equipment, dealing mainly with point of operation hazards. Among other things, it requires that machinery be located to minimize interference when handling material, and that machinery be secured and located so sufficient illumination is provided (See ANSI A11.1-52).
