This standard covers the design, operation, and maintenance of powered industrial trucks. It does not include earth moving vehicles or vehicles intended for over the road hauling. More recent versions cover low lift and high lift powered industrial trucks controlled by a riding or walking operator, and intended for use on compacted, improved surfaces.
