Transporters are required to obtain a Carrier's Alcoholic Permit from the Alcohol and Tobacco Commission to haul, convey, move, transport, or import alcoholic beverages along of over public highways of Indiana.
The application must be filed and accompanied with the proper fee of $5. Payment can be made in the form of a cashier's check, certified check, business check, or money order made payable to the Alcohol and Tobacco Commission.
The Commission may at any time require a surety bond up to $500. If a surety bond is required by the Commission, the permit, even if previously issued, will not be valid until the surety bond has been duly executed, approved and filed with the Commission.
No special reports are needed to transport alcoholic beverages out of, through, or within Idaho.
