Wyoming has adopted 390.15 of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSRs). Section 390.15 includes accident recordkeeping requirements.
Section 390.15 applies to vehicles operating intrastate with a gross vehicle weight rating, gross combination weight rating, gross vehicle weight, or gross combination weight of 26,001 pounds or more, or transporting hazardous materials in a quantity requiring placarding.

Obtaining an accident report
Procedure | A copy of an officer’s crash report may be obtained by writing to the Wyoming Department of Transportation and sending the required fee. Requests must include:
