Notwithstanding the requirements of §§178.274 and 178.277, UN T75 cryogenic portable tanks may be designed, constructed, inspected, tested, and certified in accordance with ASME Code Section XII (IBR, see §171.7 of this subchapter) in conjunction with the NBIC (IBR, see §171.7 of this subchapter), and in accordance with the conditions and limitations of §173.252 of this subchapter.
